women of "Ilk"

At some point during the week, i told jen grove about my friend who visited me in early July. Amy, from PA, had a fabulous time here and we played around with what was deserving for women of our ilk. Things like meals suited for a queen, having doors opened for us... stuff like that. Well, one day, as jen and i were walking along the path, we passed the chair swing under the trees. it was the FIRST time we had walked by when the swing was empty. We immediately squealed "Look, a chair for our ilkiness!!" not long after that, Julie Gray and Lorraine Demers passed by. we invited them to join our ilk as they are certainly qualified. Lorraine jokingly wondered if she wanted to be seen in photography with the likes of us!! Silly girl! --so here we are Lorraine on the left, Julie on the right
Next to come along was Heather Lee.

As more people passed, we coerced them to become members of the sisters of ilk. I believe that's one of newer members on the left.. the little inkmouse. jennifer (oh dear, i forget your last name) from judy melvin's class standing next to jen in the back and Lynn (last name forgotten, also in judy's class) and forgive me for totally forgetting the name of the lovely woman in the middle

Lastly, yes, jen and i were caught kissing upon many occassion. what can we say?? we are sisters!!!

Kodak moments

Our Cyberscribes group has a special board where we share pictures with each other. yesterday, Christine from Oregon shared a picture of four of us taking a picture of someone in front of her work. I am the third person in the line up
and this is the picture that I was taking. Kate Irwin of Virginia painted a lovely canvas in Charles Pearce's class. Lovely photo of a wonderful woman who should be quite proud of what she produced!

Clicking on any picture posted here on the blog will give you a larger version of the photo
